Axles in my new mj

Just asked about transfer cases and found out I have an np231 and was wondering if someone can give me some ideas of the axles I might have and how I can tell.

Front, if stock will be a Dana 30, rear could be either a Dana 35 or 44. IF its never been played with.

not sure how to post an image but I have a pioneer 4wd and I am pretty sure it has the towing package. so it should have a 44 right? is this good. I know I have heard the 35 are not wanted to much...

just because it has a hitch doesn't necessarily mean it got the 44 from the factory. gotta check to be sure. :thumbsup:

I am on my way out there right now! I will let you know! which one should I be more excited about? 44 I am guessing... at least thats how it was with my dodge truck.

actually from the looks of the bolt pattern and that drain plug it is a 44. I will get a better look in the morning. it is freezing in Sicily right now so I am staying indoors lol.
