ttruckinon Posted November 12, 2006 Share Posted November 12, 2006 My 91, 2wd Comanche has a motor problem and it seems to be little or no compression. My choices are rebuild or replace the motor (4.0). So I picked up a 92 Cherokee that has had a new motor in it not to long ago. I was going to do the swap but now I'm thinking of just fixxing the xj's problems, ball joints, brakes, exhaust and recovering the seats, and sell my MJ. I know I have more in it than it is worth but she is in good shape (other than the motor) It has a cap, trailer hitch and a kick @$$ Pioneer stereo. The body is clean and straight and the interior is....not bad. No tears in the seats but no headliner. If I get a good enough offer I will sell her otherwise I have to do the swap. I live in the Chicago area and the truck can be driven with no problem. I have driven to Atlanta once and to Birmingham Al, pulling a trailer with no problems other than blowing a lot of oil out.
