MrFreeze5 Posted August 16, 2010 Posted August 16, 2010 If you plugged it in, and the emissions light came on, the timer needs to be replaced along with the 02 sensor, and other periodic maintenance. Its junk now.
Automan2164 Posted August 16, 2010 Posted August 16, 2010 Just a reminder guys, that this section of the classifieds should not be used. I'll move this one for you. Please place any new posts in the appropriate section. Rob L. :smart:
Garvin Posted August 16, 2010 Posted August 16, 2010 MrFreeze5 is correct. Once they trip, they cannot be reset. The timer is now a paper weight. The O2 sensor does not need to be replaced though. AMC/Chrysler at the time wanted you to replace the O2 every 60k as preventative maintenance and to get the most out of the mpg's. I just replaced mine whenever it went bad and threw this timer is the dumpster. You might have to also yank the bulb, I honestly forget if I did or not. That bulb is now a spare. :chillin:

starkizer Posted December 29, 2011 Posted December 29, 2011 I would be interested if it hasn't been tripped. Can you possibly tell me shipping to 67501 and tell me how to pay you or what not
carnuck Posted January 1, 2012 Posted January 1, 2012 You can reset these (I've done it) the spot you push a pin through is covered by the tag
btm24 Posted January 4, 2012 Author Posted January 4, 2012 I'm sorry this was gone a long time ago. Good luck finding one, I think an XJight share this with the MJ. Brandon
