Pete M
blowby doesn't mean you engine is bad.
Justin_k
blowby doesn't mean you engine is bad. Even if when you pull the oil fill cap and after30 seconds the neighboirs think your trucks on fire due to all the smoke blowby?

Justin_k
Didn"t run a Compression test BUT: It goes through 1 litre of oil every 20 km's. Have a new motor going in soon as I do not have the experience or money to rebuild a motor right Black interior is MINT with working interior lights to boot. Rockers are solid. Missing a floorpan on D side, new carpet. Found old bill of sale, P.O. Payed $4000 2 years ago. Think I got a really good deal.
Pete M
blowby can be caused by bad rings, but our trucks are prone to blowby due to other reasons. All I'm saying is check before you go through all the effort to swap engines. it could just be a bad valve seals.

Or how can you tel if your valve seals are bad? (not to smart with motor internals)
