run a compression test, then a leak down test if you can.

Didn"t run a Compression test BUT: It goes through 1 litre of oil every 20 km's.

Have a new motor going in soon as I do not have the experience or money to rebuild a motor right

blowby can be caused by bad rings, but our trucks are prone to blowby due to other reasons. All I'm saying is check before you go through all the effort to swap engines. :thumbsup: it could just be a bad valve seals.

Thanks Pete. Could I just try swapping a new head on? Or how can you tel if your valve seals are bad? (not to smart with motor internals)
