JeepcoMJ Posted August 13, 2010 Posted August 13, 2010 97 xj 4.0 will not start. I just converted the jeep to ax15 with a conplete 98 parts vehicle...this was a complete wiring and accessories swap. The cps tested bad so I swapped it and still no difference. Grr what a pita, anyone have any ideas?

JeepcoMJ Posted August 13, 2010 Author Posted August 13, 2010 Spark test with plug to ground, and inli ne tester. Injectors weren't working either...tested with home made 12v noid light. Jpdocdave suggested distributor. I swapped the sensor and that was it. I normally don't ask as many questions as I have been lately...I just don't have time to be stumped right now lol.

Pete M Posted August 13, 2010 Posted August 13, 2010 duh. I read it as he swapped only a sensor and not the whole thing, meaning it still might need the whole distributor changed. :doh:
