jimoshel
Been getting heavy rain storms here the past week. Getting more rain than we usually see in a year. went out checking on the vehicles. Three of them had water level with the door sills, several others had 2-3 inches on the floor. A rust (small) hole would have let the water drain out. Think I'll keep the solid floor and just dry them out.
500 MJ
Small holes are easy to weld shut and cheap insurance. I'd pull all your carpet out of each one for sure if you are getting that much water in them...
MjPioneer
In my opinion, rust holes no big deal, rot holes..little bit of an issue
HOrnbrod
I guess that's a good attitude (copout) to take in Rustachusetts and other rust belt states, but it's wrong. All rust is an cancer issue and can't be ignored. Jimoshel's issue is not rust, it's leaks. In his case I suspect it's dry rotted weather stripping, maybe a harder fix than rust prevention. :brows:
