I was told by the local used camper guy that the shell that is the closest in dimension were made for the older (circa 96 and under) Ford Rangers.

My dad bought the cap for my MJ when he bought the MJ. I think it was a truck cap dealer/manufacturer somewhere in central Maryland. I'll look at the manufacturer logo tomorrow, they might still be in business, dunno.

 

One good place to look would be a junk yard. Might get lucky. If you find one thats damaged, you could always rebuild the cap.

capper is south african for cop :rotf: j/k..... mine was from a ranger, and it doesn't exactly fit against the back wall cuz it's slanted.. doesn't really matter to me tho, as it was dirt cheap and i only use it twice a year... you want one what a flat back wall, if it's angled any it will rub the roof right above the rear window gasket..
