Project Carmine continues

Recommended Posts

Okay, I rolled Carmine into the back of my garage last night and began

prep work on the quasi-resto. I have a lot to accomplish in a short time so

hopefully it won't be too interesting.

First pic:

Her temp home. As you can see I already have the 31" tires on so the first

thing that will need to be done is to swap out for the Grand Chero Control

arms.

Next on my list is a full engine and Ax15 swap. Here is the before pic of

what will be removed.

During the teardown I will try to starighten out the frame in the front

corner. Right now the bumper is about 3 inches farther back under the

fenders than should be.

The big project will be the interior - its all coming out. I have two

floorpans, power windows, window seals, radio, and new shifter knob. As

you can see from this pic I still have a nasty leak from somewhere that

needs to be addressed.

Hopefully the project won't take very long, but I am going to try my best

to document it.
