glundblad Posted May 23, 2010 Share Posted May 23, 2010 Email is not encrypted and is sent over the internet in clear text. So sending a passord via e-mail is not secure. Obviously it is not a big security threat if someone figures out your CC password. I work for an e-commerce business and you would be surprised how many people send credit card info over email.
