Exhaust manifold bolt size

I checked the FAQ and didn't see it in the bolt thread, looking for the bolt size to attach the intake/exhaust manifolds to the head. Just bought an '89 2.5L 'manche and it's missing 4 of the 7 or so bolts holding the manifolds on. Thanks.

Does it have both studs? The studs are a different thread.

I'm not home right now so I can't check for sure but 3/8-16 comes to mind for the bolts. There is a stud on the front exhaust #1 that is a different size.

Ace hardware carries the good grade 8 bolts. It is important to use the factory conical washers. They are designed to absorb the varied expansion and contraction of the dissimular metals, aluminum and cast iron.

I'm missing a couple of manifold bolts toward the rear.  Looks like 3/8", but can't tell if they're coarse or fine.  Does anyone know?  Thanks

i wouldnt use grade 8 there just incase you really ever break one drilling would be a pita

Bolts are 3/8-16 x 1.25"

Studs are 3/8-16 on the head side, and 3/8-24 on the manifold side.
