That was my original plan. But I haul a lot, so now I'm looking for a longbed. I still have all my XJ parts to swap. So I'm hoping to build the following.

 

1990-ish LWB 4.0, AW4, 242, 6 inch lift, 4:10, 32 Goodyear MT.

4.88s are gonna be WAY low for 31's and a 4.0, my brothers running (true)35's and a 4.0 with 4.88s and theyre a little deeper than stock.

 

4.10s wouldnt be that bad though.

 

and true-tracs don't lock all the way just a lot of the way.

Don't sink a penny into a Dana 35. Go find yourself a better axle (MJ/XJ Dana 44 or Explorer 8.8) and put your money towards something worth while. Plus you can find 8.8s with 3.55/3.73.4.10 gears and with/without a posi.
