What gears to run

What gears would you run. I have a 2.5 5 speed running 31x10.50 15. I use it as daily driver work truck and trail riding. thanks

You should already have 4.10s, but 4.56s would be better with your 31s.

I had what ever came with a ax4. Then the dana 35 broke put in a 8.8 with 4.10s. Do you think 4.56 will be enough. With the 4.10s when i hit a hill it falls on its face and i still want to get good mpg.

If it came with an AX-4, you would have originally had 3.55.

 

Is it 4wd? Did you change your speedo gear after the rear axle change/tires size change?

It is now 4wd and no i didnt change speedo gear waiting to see what gears i am going with.

With 4.56 do you think i will get better gas milage or about the same. I get 240 to 250 miles out of a tank it has a 15 gallon tank

Do you mean 4:56, or 3:55? I think they were available with 3:73, and 4:10 stock... car-part.com says 3:27, 3:55, 3:73, and 4:10 depending on application.
