I recently replaced my clutch and transmission in a 1991 4.0 Eliminator. Before the install my transfer case worked fine, now 4 low will not engage, yet 4 hi works just fine. What do you all think linkage or shift fork?

TIA,

well, you moved everything around during the trans install, so I'd say linkage first. If you adjust it and it doesn't work then I'd say fork.

Did you disco the t-case linkage when you split the motor and trans? If not then I could see that the yanking required to do the clutch may have bent the fork through the linkage.

My worries exactly, I think I may have bent the fork :headpop: I will continue to play with the linkage.

Thanks
