question for anyone who's swapped from standard to automatic

did you remove the clutch master cylinder? and if so what did you use to cover the hole in the firewall? I'm pretty sure i'm going to take it out so it doesn't wind up puking on the fusebox, just looking for ideas to plug the hole up.....

When I converted to Auto I Actually Just left the hole there and did nothing until this year when I tore the truck down again to do my 97-01 Conversion and then I just fiberglassed over the Hole...

 

I was going to make a Plate and bolt it on but figured I was not going to convert it back to manual so a permenant fix was best...

I will likely be CNC'ing a plate and seal welding it over the hole when I do my conversion.
