who's got money to bribe a 4/92 MJ out of the CFC program?

IT just amazed me at some of the vehicles that CFC'd. I almost CFC'd my black SWB rig. It just missed the mileage by 1mpg. I looked at it as a buisness decision. I was all ready buying my wife a vehicle. It was a 2010 Chevy equinox, and of course I looked into it.. I only had 900 in my rig... so it was a good investment if it panned out.

Sounds like grounds for being banned from the CC!

as of last I was there, the trans and t-case and front shaft were still there. rear shaft might be somewhere in the bed, there's a lot of junk in the bed. doors were still there and bed was still intact. steering column was also in the bed.

feel free to ask about rescuing the ol girl. the phone number has proved to be worthless. :fs1:

According to the Build Sheet I just Looked up...

Build Date Was April 16th 1992

In Service date was May 15th 1992

This truck has 3.07 gears and is a Rear D44 with Trac-loc

4.0L 5 speed Manual

Factory Tow Hooks

Full Skid Plates

Too Bad it ended up in the Junk yard Under the CFC program...

Before Jeepman posted, i emailed Jeep for a build sheet. The response from Jeep arrived today, here is a part of it:

Fortunately our system still has some information on your Jeep. The

actual build date shows May 04, 1992 (J status) and delivered to the

dealership on May 15, 1992 (X status). I do show the warranty build

start date as of April 16, 1992 in the 21st hour. This could be the

4/92 reference on your door tag.

So what is the difference between a warranty build date and actual build date?
