xj_dummy Posted October 14, 2009 Share Posted October 14, 2009 I recently changed my pcv valve and new rubber gasket from the dealer, because my old one was spraying oil all over the valve cover. Any way, my idle went up to 1100 rpm from 700 rpm. Is this Normal? I really don't know because when I got the truck it had a loose rubber gasket and PCV valve.
