mj88
I'm replacing the engine in my 89 cherokee 4.0l and there are two sensors on the drivers side by the engine mount that i can't figure out what they are. one is just above the oil pan and behind the engine mount. The next one is directly under the engine mount. I went to the auto parts stores and they couldnt help. I looked on my other two jeeps for any part numbers but they didnt have anything. I'm trying not to go to the dealer my last time there was just  . any ideas
Geonovast
The one with the rat tail is the coolant temp sender for the ECU, and the one with the plug that looks like an injector plug is the knock sensor.

Geonovast
Don't bother with the knock sensor unless it's not running right. My first two Renix XJs had them unplugged and ran fine.
