CWLONGSHOT Posted October 9, 2009 Posted October 9, 2009 WO/ drop brackets its prefered to run all replacement control arms on any lift over 3.5-4". W/ Drop brackets you can get away with it but you willl still be better off with replacement arms. CW
88elimnator Posted October 9, 2009 Author Posted October 9, 2009 I already have adjustable lowers, and took the 2 1/2 spacers out in attempt to make the upper stock arms work but they don't seem to be long enough still.
cracker Posted October 9, 2009 Posted October 9, 2009 The UCAs are pretty 'light duty' and should be replaced regardless plus they are 21 years old ;)
mnkyboy Posted October 10, 2009 Posted October 10, 2009 I have a 5" lift with stock uppers and lowers,truck drives fine. so no you don't need them although they would be good to have. you should be able to get what you have to work
