cluricaunne
so, headed to the JY this morning to get a new shift boot, and a spare fuse panel. On sunday, a buddy of mine is going to bring over his MJ. I am going to pay $200 for it, and scalp the parts. I will get pictures of it when it gets here, it has no bed, and no drivers door, but rumor has it that if the electrical were fixed it would run and drive. I want it for the front and rear end, xfer case, trans, and maybe some interior.

cluricaunne
quick update, the dash harness has been completely rebuilt, every connector replaced, burnt wires removed and replaced. I am now a solder master... lol. I just have a few more pins to plug back in, and it will be ready to reinstall into the jeep. I am stoked, she is almost roadworthy again. The other half is for the inside of the cab, and then I am going to use the last gallon to really thicken up the inside of the bed...
cluricaunne
On a side note, I have been procrastinating on finishing the Jeep, and then we got hit with an ugly snow storm here in western WA. The incentive to finish the jeep has returned, and pics and progress will start to flow again.

The box came out of any 1987 to 95 Cherokee, but I pulled it from an automatic, so no chance of clutch master cylinder leaks... lol... and then just took my time putting everything back together... bottomline89
To be honest, at first the thought of huculining the whole truck scared me, but i like the look. Makes it look tough. Besides durability, what r the pro's and con's of the liner?

cluricaunne
got my donor truck yesterday, 3 inch lift, but I need to modify the rear to work with my plans. 20k miles on the aisin trans, and custom yj t-case. Has a 97 YJ dana 35 rear end, and front to match, with 4.10 gears, and only about 50k on the axles since they were rebuilt. Should be a good score, only paid $250 for the whole truck, and now I have lots of work to get done. Will get some pics up soon, promise... cluricaunne
Okay, my camera is officially dead, making the picture taking close to impossible at the moment, but I have to get pics up for you guys. Assembly is down to wheels, antenna, flares, and the interior. She is almost done, and should be fully finished (sort of, still need to order the diamond plate) and back on the road in another week or so. I know the update is useless without pictures, so I will see what I can do in the next day or so...
