cluricaunne Posted October 12, 2010 Author Posted October 12, 2010 aye, it definitely is, but I'm having fun with it, and its the only sure fire way to cure all of my electrical problems (damn you jeep... lol)
cluricaunne Posted October 12, 2010 Author Posted October 12, 2010 so, headed to the JY this morning to get a new shift boot, and a spare fuse panel. On sunday, a buddy of mine is going to bring over his MJ. I am going to pay $200 for it, and scalp the parts. I will get pictures of it when it gets here, it has no bed, and no drivers door, but rumor has it that if the electrical were fixed it would run and drive. I want it for the front and rear end, xfer case, trans, and maybe some interior.
pig Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 That white MJ looks sweet! nice to see another member in washington
cluricaunne Posted November 3, 2010 Author Posted November 3, 2010 quick update, the dash harness has been completely rebuilt, every connector replaced, burnt wires removed and replaced. I am now a solder master... lol. I just have a few more pins to plug back in, and it will be ready to reinstall into the jeep. I am stoked, she is almost roadworthy again.
Richliveshots69 Posted November 6, 2010 Posted November 6, 2010 Man I still look at that and rub my eyes, shack my head and say WOW! That makes me go cross eyed! LOL Glad to hear your almost on the road!

cluricaunne Posted November 24, 2010 Author Posted November 24, 2010 How many coats did you use ive read you only need 2 coats but some people say 3 is alot better ? thanks I have two coats on the body, and have gone through a gallon and a half. The other half is for the inside of the cab, and then I am going to use the last gallon to really thicken up the inside of the bed...
cluricaunne Posted November 24, 2010 Author Posted November 24, 2010 On a side note, I have been procrastinating on finishing the Jeep, and then we got hit with an ugly snow storm here in western WA. The incentive to finish the jeep has returned, and pics and progress will start to flow again.
cluricaunne Posted January 12, 2011 Author Posted January 12, 2011 Well, I haven't taken pics yet, but I got the nose back on, and I will get pics up in the next day or two...

The box came out of any 1987 to 95 Cherokee, but I pulled it from an automatic, so no chance of clutch master cylinder leaks... lol... and then just took my time putting everything back together...
bottomline89 Posted February 19, 2011 Posted February 19, 2011 To be honest, at first the thought of huculining the whole truck scared me, but i like the look. Makes it look tough. Besides durability, what r the pro's and con's of the liner?
MancheKid86 Posted February 19, 2011 Posted February 19, 2011 inability to stop any new rust rot from happening
littlezeeker Posted March 30, 2011 Posted March 30, 2011 Put A few More Pictures Of Your Jeeps Body With The Red And Black here's My Jeep viewtopic.php?f=7&t=26895
cluricaunne Posted April 6, 2011 Author Posted April 6, 2011 As soon as the weather clears up, I am going to get back to work on the truck. Will start updating in the near future. Put A few More Pictures Of Your Jeeps Body With The Red And Black here's My Jeep http://www.comancheclub.com/forums/view ... =7&t=26895 It's actually Black and Hemi Orange... but I will get those pics up soon...
cluricaunne Posted May 1, 2011 Author Posted May 1, 2011 got my donor truck yesterday, 3 inch lift, but I need to modify the rear to work with my plans. 20k miles on the aisin trans, and custom yj t-case. Has a 97 YJ dana 35 rear end, and front to match, with 4.10 gears, and only about 50k on the axles since they were rebuilt. Should be a good score, only paid $250 for the whole truck, and now I have lots of work to get done. Will get some pics up soon, promise...
cody4359 Posted July 24, 2011 Posted July 24, 2011 sounds like you have your work cut out for you, hurry up on the pictures
cluricaunne Posted September 13, 2011 Author Posted September 13, 2011 Okay, my camera is officially dead, making the picture taking close to impossible at the moment, but I have to get pics up for you guys. Assembly is down to wheels, antenna, flares, and the interior. She is almost done, and should be fully finished (sort of, still need to order the diamond plate) and back on the road in another week or so. I know the update is useless without pictures, so I will see what I can do in the next day or so...
cluricaunne Posted September 18, 2011 Author Posted September 18, 2011 small pic update, she's come a long way from where she was...
cluricaunne Posted September 29, 2011 Author Posted September 29, 2011 Dash and harness are mostly back together, all of the lights are working properly, and she's running and driving great. A couple more plugs, a few screws, and I can put her back I the road, I am so stoked...
