There is no 2.6 Options were the 2.8 V6 or 2.5 4 cylinder.

Yep, '86 had: 2.8L V-6, 2.5L I-4 gas, and 2.1L I-4 diesel.

I'm guessing it is originally Canadian so the 2.8 is 2.6 with the exchange :D .
