srgnt pepper Posted July 11, 2009 Posted July 11, 2009 i have an inline 6, '88, two wheel drive with stock suspension. sometimes when i hit bumps, no matter how big or fast, that side will start wobbling and shaking REALLY bad. it stops if i hit the brakes. any ideas what the problem is or could be?
steel Posted July 11, 2009 Posted July 11, 2009 I get the same thing. Someone told me that it could be my steering dampner. I bought one but have not put it on yet. I'll let you know if it works for me.

Use EAGLE as the topic author and DEATH WOBBLE as the topic. MIND NUMBING amounts of information will follow. If your stabulizer is bad, swapping in a new one, will only MASK the true problem. Geonovast Posted July 11, 2009 Posted July 11, 2009 Yup, the stabilizer cannot actually be the cause. If everything else is working fine, you can run without one with no shaking.
