sinnaevd
i'm talking body. i can make the other components fit, but the 2wd frames and the 4wd frames are supoosedly way to different to even bother trying to swap everything over. so i want to put my 2wd onto the 4wd frame. GirsMJ86
bodies did not change all that much between 73 and 87. so you can bolt right up with very little mods. and try www.myoldtruck.com for help on those trucks. alex
Hot Rod Jeep
The 2wd transmission hump is smaller than the 4wd hump. I think it's only a couple inches difference, but I don't know what kind of clearence issues that'll bring up. You might be able to just cut the 4wd hump out and bolt it in the 2wd's place or use a body lift. Something to check into before you go setting the 2wd cab on the frame then then find out. 8)

feerocknok
I hate body lifts, but if that's the case, it's super easy to do! http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/ The forum is apparently for 67-72 trucks, but they're super knowledgable on the newer ones too!
