jmc1986mj
...I have chosen to ignore it and upgrade my steering components to a Rusty's outfit. (At my doorstep within 4 days for under $315) The stock tie rod had a sweet 30 degree bend in the middle from the previous owner winching the truck onto a flatbed by attaching a chain to the tie rod. The resulting toe-in is amazing. I'll keep you all posted on ease of install and performance. Keep in mind... no lift and factory tire size (for now). Should I install a lift and larger tires, I'll definitely look into a beefier set-up, but for now the Rusty's conversion should work fine. I hope... mvusse
From all the horror stories I've heard, Rusty's could hardly be called an upgrade. You could get a straight JY tie rod and brand new tie rod ends for much less than $315.
