64 Cheyenne Posted March 2, 2009 Share Posted March 2, 2009 I'm getting ready to pull the puke,replace with an ext. slave AX-15.can I reuse my old crossmember, or should I go back to the JY and get the crossmember from the AX-15.Or if not can I make my old CM work? whoops! this should have been in the Tech section. ren Posted March 2, 2009 Share Posted March 2, 2009 You need the steel plate the goes between the AX and the crossmember. It has a "step" in it and it is a real PITA to replicate, also make sure to get the transfercase linkage bracket for the AX, as the one from the 'goat is incorrect.
