tmmoll Posted February 17, 2009 Posted February 17, 2009 Does any body have pics of fiberglass fender for both the front and rear? I'm trying to decide if thats the look I'm after.
tmmoll Posted February 17, 2009 Author Posted February 17, 2009 Are the rears fiberglass as well? They look stock.
gogetemturbo Posted February 17, 2009 Posted February 17, 2009 Definitely fiberglass. Are you running a short bed or long? As far I know, currently there isn't anyone making long bed glass. I know Nick at Jeeptricks was going to be getting some done, but I haven't heard about them recently.

gogetemturbo Posted February 17, 2009 Posted February 17, 2009 Nice find hordbrod! That glass almost looks like add of pieces versus all new replacement fenders. Looks kinda cool though! Make me wanna take my 87 LWB leave it stock height glass on the front with a huge freakin motor! The wife isn't going to like this.......... ::insert evil laugh here::
MiNi Beast Posted February 17, 2009 Posted February 17, 2009 Here is my MJ with Fiberglass fronts: Dang haven't see your rig in a while, I like that right there, that looks good with the Wagoneer clip

dakineJ Posted February 18, 2009 Posted February 18, 2009 offroader461 , are those Glassworks fenders ? How was the install ? I think the first truck pictured is sport'n Hannemans fenders and bedsides. Trailer Products/Ajax and Rusty,s also make glass for the XJ/MJ .

gogetemturbo Posted February 18, 2009 Posted February 18, 2009 The Rusty's glass use to be Hannemann, but they copied them and started making them on their own. Prolly cheaper for them But that's also "I heard from a guy who heard from a guy" stuff
dakineJ Posted February 19, 2009 Posted February 19, 2009 I thought Rustys fenders looked an awful lot like Hannemans. offroader461 , the reason I ask about your fenders is I have been planning for some time on getting a set of Glassworks for my truck. I was interested in how they fit , how the install went. It's nice to see 'em on an MJ.
jeepprerunner Posted February 19, 2009 Posted February 19, 2009 last time I saw Nick's truck it looked like this. Looks like he need to get the LB fenders done.
gogetemturbo Posted February 19, 2009 Posted February 19, 2009 Yep, it's still got the same sheet metal on it. Though they look a small amount better than that pictures - pounded out some dents. That's the nice thing about sheet metal.
