james750
What does it take to make the electric XJ buckets work in an MJ. IIRC they have the curved brackets that make them sit lower? Or do they sit higher? Anyone have any wiring diagrams to wire them up? Found some at the pull and pay today and am debating on whether or not it would be worth it to go get them and put them in. Now do that again for the other side.

Sir Sam
If its really THAT easy I think I'm gonna go get those seats. They just need power and ground. thats all. you might also check the pullandsave in aurora, their inventory lists a 96 country.....it might have some nice leather seats in it too, or nicer. JeepcoMJ
custom fab seat brackets. not hard to do, but you won't be able to use the MJ brackets at all with it.

JeepcoMJ
custom fab seat brackets. not hard to do, but you won't be able to use the MJ brackets at all with it. Why not? because cherokee power seat mounts are about 4.5" shorter than normal, which means they're around that much shorter than MJ mounts. the difference is made up with the electric motor assembly...it makes up that 4.5". so, to use the MJ brackets, you'd end up with your head coming out of the roof. Akula69
I picked up a pair from an 89 xj that I installed into my daughter's 95 xj...the mounting bolts matched perfectly and I just wired up the red to 12V and grounded the other lead to the floor pan. They work great and only required a seat cover (until I can afford to get them re-covered).
