mvusse Posted January 31, 2009 Share Posted January 31, 2009 Not if you want to keep it a 2wd. A 4wd transmission is designed to be bolted up to a transfer case, and can not accept a drive shaft. Pete M Posted February 1, 2009 Share Posted February 1, 2009 Any year 2.5L. And any year t-case with the 21 spline input (all 2.5/2.8Ls and 87-90 4.0). I seem to remember that there were a couple choices for input shaft length on the t-case. I'm not positive on the details, but the safest way would be to get them already bolted together as a unit.
