90MJext Posted January 26, 2009 Share Posted January 26, 2009 1. remove the housing from the door, acquire 10mm LED with resistor (for 12V)(purchased on EBay), rubber grommet and silicone if needed. remember where the hot wire (positive) is located Image Not Found 2. remove bulb holder and insert rubber grommet. Image Not Found 3. test fit LED into grommet, cut wires to proper length. Image Not Found Image Not Found 4.remove leads from housing, solder wires to the metal leads, remembering which side is positive. If solder does not take drill a small hole loop wire thru it and then solder. Image Not Found 5. replace leads, might have to trim connection cover for proper fit Image Not Found Image Not Found 6. connect to a 12V source and check proper function.
