antidisestablishmentarianism gear ratio came stock on the 89 2.5l ax-5 dana 35

I'm doing 4x4 conversion and antidisestablishmentarianism all would i need besides regearing

Should be 4.10s, but I'd double check the tag if I were you. Also (if I were still standing in your shoes), I'd focus on finding a Dana 30 front that already has 4.10s in it so you won't have to regear anything. :thumbsup:

 

2.5L 4wd conversion shortlist:

-4wd AX-5

-21 spline t-case

-shifter linkage, handle, and make sure you get that little bracket that bolts to the underside of the floor

-front driveshaft from a 2.5L MJ/XJ

-rear driveshaft from a 4wd 2.5L MJ (or have your 2wd one cut down to size like many of us do)

-Dana 30 that matches your rear axle ratio

thats the easy part the hard part is finding a 2.5l tranny and transfer case
