It blew UP!!!!

So i blew a head gasket and valve cover gasket and then drove her another 8 miles, she still runs but its stuck in LIMP mode and i was wondering how hard is that head gasket?

I didn't know the Renix control system had a "limp mode" as such. It's likely barely be able to limp because of the blown head gasket/no compression on one or more cylinders.

there is not one that I know of. It probably just sucks form all the compression loss

depends on your mechanical ability.

It's relatively straight forward as long as you have the proper tools. It's a looong procedure though. A good weekend for me. Spray down the bolts with PB Blaster for days ahead of time.

Be prepared that the head weighs a lot. Or at least it seems to when it's in the middle of the engine bay. :shake:

its at a gas station and i talked to the owner, he said that it was cool that it stayed for a few days, so that part is taken care of.
