xj_dummy Posted January 16, 2009 Posted January 16, 2009 I'm still having problems with my clutch master cylinder and clutch slave cylinder. I bled the system per the instructions in the Haynes repair manual, but still no worky. I have reinstalled the external slave on my ax5 tranny. But the clutch pedal is rock hard and "won't" move at all. Does anyone have an exploded view of the external slave unit and how or what it pushes on in the clutch area?

BLHTAZ Posted January 16, 2009 Posted January 16, 2009 Correct...and this is the view from the FSM of that set up. The part called the Throw-Out Lever is what your slave pushes when you press the clutch down. You can't see it from outside.
