tmmoll Posted January 8, 2009 Posted January 8, 2009 Please help..... When I drive above 25-30mph, there is a noise that I don't know what it is. It sound like rubber on concreate at high speeds but it comes and goes, and when I take my foot off the gas it will stop for a minute. The tires are almost brand new. And I think they are the right size.....225's. Any help?
BLHTAZ Posted January 8, 2009 Posted January 8, 2009 What is your set up? Engine, transmission, t-case?? Check you fluids in tranny, t-case & axles. Check the ujoints out in the driveshafts too. If you have a 5 speed...does the noise stop or change when you push the clutch?
tmmoll Posted January 8, 2009 Author Posted January 8, 2009 Well it a 2.5 4 speed, all stock ride height. I havent checked the fluids....I probable should before posting. Ill check those when I get home tonight and let you guys now.
tmmoll Posted January 9, 2009 Author Posted January 9, 2009 Well last night I couldnt check any thing. It got too dark. Doesnt matter though, I went to go move the truck out of the driveway and it wouldnt start. It turned over but nothing else.
BLHTAZ Posted January 9, 2009 Posted January 9, 2009 I went to go move the truck out of the driveway and it wouldnt start. It turned over but nothing else. When that happens, it's typically the CPS that has gone bad.
