voltageyz0 Posted January 4, 2009 Posted January 4, 2009 i have seen posts from this problem before but could not find it again. when i start my truck it runs at 3000 rpm for about 10-15 seconds then goes back to normal and i do not know why or how to stop it from doing so. and i have a 4.0 thanks for any help -kevin

BLHTAZ Posted January 4, 2009 Posted January 4, 2009 Yep...take the IAC off, clean it real good and clean the throttle body real good too. If that doesn't fix it then you likely have an IAC going bad. :thumbsup:
