clock and radio dimmer ??

i had just taken a clock and a factory radio out of another comanche and put it in mine and for some reason they work but won't light up i thought maybe it was the fuse or dimmer switch but my dimmer works on cluster not the clock or radio. i can see that they areo n in the bright light but the light won't show any ideas why they are not lighting up

Have you check to be sure there is power to the bulbs for them? If so...have you checked to be sure the bulbs work by switching them with another bulb in a working position?

if i find out it is the bulb in the clock then why wouldnt the radio light up??? it turns on and works just doesnt light up its a factory jeep comanche radio

ok replaced bulb and it lights but the light on the radio is not working but i still get radio in speakers just don't know antidisestablishmentarianism station i on becuase of this :ack: :(

Sounds like a coincidental problem with the radio itself. May be time for a replacement.

with a bit of time and paitience I'm sure you can take the radio apart and swap it's bulbs.

it's the bulb. the old quartz lcd's or whatever they are are reflective...so direct light will allow you to see what the deal is.

lol, no idea...I yank all my stockers and pile them up in the barn until someone needs them.
