possum
I have a few ideas but I would like to ask some of you guys that may have experience doing this. What is the best way to remove the broken bolts going into the frame at the rear bumper mounts? I was figuring on drilling out the bolts and trying to get a nut into the frame for the new bolts to go through. Ideas, suggestions please.....
jtdesigns
Your probably going to have to drill the bolts completely out and then chase the threads with a tap.. Going about it any other way will probably be a waste of time. Well that is if their rust welded in there.

mjeff87
I had two weldnuts that were stripped on mine. I ended up drilling straight thru the other side of the framerail and adding a longer bolt with a fender washer and nut on the other side. Had to use a right angle drill because the rear quaterpanels are too close to use a regular drill. Jeff
