rear main seal one piece how?

On a 2.5 4cyl 2wd how hard is it to replace rear main one peice seal? The Trans is already off, can I just carefully hook the old one out and push a new one in with a piece of wood or seal driver/big socket??? Whats the best tool to remove it?

I just used a thin blade screwdriver. Just be careful not to scratch or nick the crank. Lightly lubricate the new seal before installation.

There is a tool that looks like a boomerang on a screwdriver for pulling them. I used a screwdriver on my 4 cyl last time.
