Door Upgrade Year?

I have seen a few people upgrade their doors, but what year and what year(s) cherokee will fit?

If I remember right, it's up to '96 XJ. Later years will probably still work, but I am not sure about body line match up.

 

Must be a 4 door front door.

And what years had the doors with no vent, i meant not even a spot for it? I saw someone do that and those are what I am looking for

You're doing the same I am, I think it was in the projects forum, and year wise, i think you are right. If this is YOUR truck we are talking about...PLEASE HELP!!! :D

97+ doors are without the wind wings. They can be put on a MJ but you need the 97+ door catch as well.

Like I said in my thread, the wiring is a real pain. But if you've got manual windows and locks and you get new manual doors, this swap would be a piece of cake.

Today would have been a GREAT day, I found a 97+ front clip and 97+ doors of a 4dr XJ with CHROME handles...started walking, drivers side of the clip fiberglass is TOTALLED and drivers side dorr = BEAUTIFUL passengers side = FUBAR

 

Although I did find my CHROME front end at the local JY looks BRAND NEW....as well as an 87 sportuck that they didn't even know they had :rotf:
