88mjmanche Posted November 7, 2008 Posted November 7, 2008 i got these AT'S for $275 they are brand new 100% tread are they good for off road use????????? :hmm:
89eliminator Posted November 7, 2008 Posted November 7, 2008 depends on what kind of terrain you run. obviously, they arent gonna be as good in the mud as a mud terrain tire. they seem to perform well on the rocks and trails though.
WahooSteeler Posted November 7, 2008 Posted November 7, 2008 i got these AT'S for $275 they are brand new 100% tread are they good for off road use????????? :hmm: NO! They are AWFUL. I'll help you cut your losses and buy them for $200! ;) Just kidding. Great deal, great all around tire. But as Wade said, still depends on type of off-roading you do.
attaboybob Posted November 7, 2008 Posted November 7, 2008 I didn't like them at all on any terrain. maybe it's just the driver. I do have the BFG mud-terrains and love em. BOB
BLHTAZ Posted November 7, 2008 Posted November 7, 2008 I had the BFG AT's on the MJ for a short time, but did not like them. The ride was OK, but I occasionally got in soft sand and they would get me stuck every time unless I used 4WD  . I have driven the same areas with my Swamper TrXus MT's and have never need 4WD. It's a good deal, but not a tire that I would recommend if asked prior to purchase ;)
CWLONGSHOT Posted November 7, 2008 Posted November 7, 2008 They are a great allaround tire, with a problem in mud. :D Stay out of the heavy thick mud and you will have a long life togather... CW
