88XJSport
I changed my injectors today, and when I turn the key ON, the pump won't pressurize (no humming) but the relays click as normal. There is also no pressure at the rail obviously. Pump is 2 years old and worked great before the injectors. SUGGESTIONS?
mvusse
Did you by any chance disconnect the wiring harness in front of the tank? Use a test light with a sharp tip that can push through the insulation and check for power starting at the tank and working towards the front. Will need one person to turn the key on and off periodically while the other tests the wire.
88XJSport
So now if I knock on the tank in front of the lock ring on the tank, it will work. Why is this?
mvusse
Bad pump or bad wire going from lock ring to pump. This happening when replacing injectors is coincidence.

FxRacing282
Did you by any chance disconnect the wiring harness in front of the tank? Use a test light with a sharp tip that can push through the insulation if you value not having to re-run wires on the side of the highway then don't do that. it only lets in corrosive elements. disconnect the connector or go into the back of the connector to check for power.
