XJs4Ever Posted August 18, 2008 Share Posted August 18, 2008 The 'new' MJ's maiden voyage. Aug 12 and yet we were walking distance to deep snow. Truck ran great but the water crossing busted the weld on my fan so it was clutched again and we overheated going home. PLUS I smelled gear oil heading home and thought the front diff vent tube had become disconnected in the water also and water got in the diff? Nooo I had no vent tube at all so yea water did get in there. All fixed now.
