  1. So I have a 95 dodge dakota sitting in my driveway, with a seized motor. I read somewhere that some dakota parts are interchangeable with MJs. Specifically talking about the fuel tank/sending unit. Can anyone confirm this? If not, is anything else on the dakota worth saving before I haul it to a scrap yard? My MJ is in need of a few minor things (antenna, parking break cable). Anyone know if any of those will work? I'm not sure exactly what year dakota parts are supposed to be interchangeable, as everything I have read just says "dakota". I would assume it would only be first gen dakotas though, in which case, I'm out of luck.
  2. So I took some measurements, and it looks like a gen 2 dakota bench can fit in a comanche. Has anyone ever done this? I'm sure it will require some fabrication for brackets and such. I loved the bench in my wifes dakota, but since it slung a rod, I'm now just using it for parts.
  3. Hi all, Sooo like most Comanche owners, I'm looking for a solution to my bedbugs, so to speak haha I've got a bed that needs some help, and I've never really done any body work. So I've been looking into bedside panels, but I'm not sure that's the way I wanna go... What I'm seriously considering is just taking the bed off of an old Ranger (or Dakota just to keep it in the family) and making some minor adjustments to it to bolt right on to the frame. I've got the 7' box, so it shouldn't be too big of an issue to find a bed...But so I'm wondering if anyone has tried this and basically how their 'Frankenstein Monster', if I may, turned out. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks a bunch guys!
