I'm replacing the engine in my 89 cherokee 4.0l and there are two sensors on the drivers side by the engine mount that i can't figure out what they are. one is just above the oil pan and behind the engine mount. The next one is directly under the engine mount. I went to the auto parts stores and they couldnt help. I looked on my other two jeeps for any part numbers but they didnt have anything. I'm trying not to go to the dealer my last time there was just  . any ideas

i have a 88 mj with the olypic package it is just a pioneer with gold stickers down the sides and on the back. -
this is my 88 mj with 8inch skyjacker coils and 2inch spacers in the front and in the rear is a spring over, 3inch add a leaf and 1 1/2 inch shackle. running 33 inch tires.

I'm going to agree pull the alt and have it checked. i put in three before i got a good one. if it is bad and you need a new one have them test it before you leave the store.
-
i put a t-case drop kit on my mj (local offroad shop said it would help) and i didnt notice any difference. but to stay cheep i found a longer slip yoke so i didnt have to get a new drive shaft.

-
its true they have sold the land that lions back is on and are going to build condos.
-
thats from the center of the wheel to the bottom of the flare. the tires on it are 33 for now but soon will have 38 tsl.
-
the measurements are 32in in the front and 27 3/4 in the rear.
-
the lift includes 8in skyjacker coils 2in space block and 2in from the dana 44 axle out of a early ford bronco (kept the stock bronco arms). don't know if it is really 12in but the back sags. the back has stock springs 3in addaleaf and a 2in shackle with a spring over.

i just lifted the front of my 88 mj 12 inchs the back is at 9inchs I'm wondering if anyone knows were i can get new springs for the back that would fit in the stock locations or what springs would work with slight mods??
