Yeah the plate to connect them is like 700. Thats the cheapest I found. Offroad design has a web site that has some info. I have a 4 wheel drive mag that has the whole write up on doing the combo. I guess I will be patient and see what happens.
Yeah that is what I was thinking. My father inlaw is a chevy fan and he has a mini junk yard behind his house. He has a couple 205's and 203's and 208's. I don't know how he got ahold of the 70 and some 9 inch rearend's but.. Anyone have any suggestions..
I have one of those. I was thinking of doing the doubler NP205/203. I got a Dana 70 rear with it too for free. I don't know what to do with everything.
Yeah I thought that too. But wouldn't you think that the gap between the spark plug would be to big to even start the vehicle. I don't romp on my DD cause it has 267,xxx miles on it and runs awesome. SOoo. Who knows as long as it's runnning fine.
I was on my way to work yesterday and my spark plug blew out of the cylinder head. NO threads were damaged. So I pulled over and put it back in and drove to work. NO problems since.
In the yahoo forum there is a diagram of the wiring that I thought was better than the one in the Haynes manual. It's a PDF file so you need Adobe to read it.
The grounds are the black wires that come off the plug for the blinkers. Have you tried the blinker fuse. It looks like a little can.It' located at your fuse black under the dash. If that has gone bad. There is one for your 4 ways and and blinkers. Does your 4 ways work? You could look in a Haynes manuel. They have wireing diagrams. Yahoo's group has some diagrams too.
I had that problem too. The brake switch wasn't getting power. What I did was take the plug from the brake pedel and ran a new power line. That seems to be working for me. I am getting a little moisture around my fuse block cause some other fuses were wet and starting to rust. Let me know how it goes.
what I did was take the blinker apart to expose the bulb. The black wire is the ground. I just cut it and grounded some where better and they worked. Does your blinkers always on, on your dash. I heard that the plugs themself go bad. Good luck
