I've ran lots of different shocks over the last 10 years and I have nothing but good things to say about the Rough Country Performance 2.2 shocks. The cost per shock is very reasonable and I have yet to blow one up on 3 vehicles over the last two years. Check them out: http://roughcountry.com/performance_shock.html

Picked up a set of interior lights from Euramtec.com I'm running out of things to do ;)

Not hard at all, it should take you no more than an hour, even if it's your first time. The hardest part is getting to the locking cylinders.

I decided to completely rebuild my rear 44 since I had to fix a leak anyway.

Just finished replacing the MJ's oil filter and valve cover seals. I've done it so many times that it literally took me about an hour and a half. :wrench: I also decided to change the oil, Mobil UNO and replace the oil drain plug while I was at it. If that takes care of the slow oil leak, then there is obviously no need for me to do the rear main seal. Now all that is left is replacing the rear axle seals tomorrow or Friday and the MJ is officially leak free.

Almost done with the half doors

The MJ is coming along nicely.... I will attempt to do the front gears during this long weekend as well as finishing the half doors. All that's left is installing the new 4WD shifter cable / brackets, front locker, and trimming the fenders. I'll armor the undercarriage at a later time, after all, this vehicle will only be a weekend light trail warrior / my daily driver since the wife has claimed the XJ as hers.

This event has been fun every year so far... I'll be there to give a way a little something to (one) lucky 4x4 owner that comes to the show. :brows: If you have any parts to sale, this is also a good time to do so.

Took care of the mirror issue. Set of HD mirrors donated by a friend of mine. Cut the old threaded studs and welded some new ones that fit the diameter of the door hinge. Done...
