About a month ago I replaced the a/c compressor and it worked great... Well now the electrical part of the ac system is not working.. I tested the electromagnet on the compressor and it still works. I want to test the relay but I don't know where it is. Thanks,

Yes it is my dd and some off road. And my only vehicle... -
I am looking to buy a Warn winch for my Comanche, but i am not sure how much a MJ weighs.. I think its around 3000 lbs.? is the general rule for winch cap. 1.5x the MJ weight, so i am looking for at least 4,500 lb or better winch. Thanks

It is a 5 speed manual. What would be the easiest way to find what tranny I have? I thought I had a better picture online already but I don't... When I can I will get a better picture.. I saw a post that showed nice clean ax15 and ba10 trannys to id with but mine is in no ways clean.

Yesterday I left the house at 7:30 am to start collecting donations from out drop off sites and to move everything to the Airport location. This was all the stuff dropped off at just the airport location.. the other location had about half what was here. This is dad's trailer with mostly loaded. And here is my trailer fully loaded. I was not sure how to get where we where going so I used my iPad as a GPS. Every thing was going fine until about half way there when the electrical systems where buging out... :grrrr: But thankfully it was just a loose battery connection. We arrived at the drop off location at about 3 pm and where told to take everything to Temporary Emergency Services. Well because there was not a drive around at the church i had to back out with the trailer... the guy there thought that i did not know how to back up a trailer.... So I then backed the trailer in a nice straight line as far as I needed to go... that managed to quiet him up. :rotfl2: So we then drove to the T.E.S. location where they unloaded every thing in 5 min...

MC is full not sure how to check tranny fluid, as for the tranny type, I have a 4.0 engine, ax-15 I guess.. I have a picture of it posted somewhere I will upload it when I find it... Maybe that will help... The big bolt that a socket wrench connects to is the fill/fill to level correct? I have some Lucas tranny leak stop I was going to add. My dad was saying there is a filter that needs to be changed now and then and the last time it was changed could have been 10 years ago.... What would be involved in changing that? And what type of oil do I use? I think I read somewhere on here to use 75/w90 oil. Thanks

I wish I could, we are goin to a church in Tuscaloosa with this first load. Dad with our F-250 and I with his Liberty, and both with trailers. I will pass the word on. I would use my MJ but it is out of comission for now. We plan to make another trip in 2 weeks maybe sooner.

I have the inverter just sitting between the seats. The Positive wiring is 8 GA wire running to a 50 amp inline fuse.. (this was originally ran for my 600 watt amp for my subs, but as you can tell there not in there yet... This is where it is grounded to the frame in the cab. It worked out perfect. -

Dad bought a 2003 Jeep Liberty Sport 4x4 today. So here is our vehicle lineup. Mom's Big F-250, Dad's Jeep Liberty, and my Comanche. Dad has also informed me that he will be going off-roading with me now.... :shake: I guess it doesn't hurt to have a 20+ year ER nurse around. Edit: Mom has a F-250 and Jeep Liberty that she lets Dad drive. -
I like My M870 12 Ga shotgun. its the tactical version with the short barrel and the extended tube mag... Well i say short its about the same length as the youth m870 20 ga.

Dumb bumper question....
Blue88Comanche replied to Blue88Comanche's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
that is what it is... i looked at it again this morning... its the license plat bracket... This is why sleep is a good thing.... -
Can the front bumper be attached to the Jeep upside down? Or is it made to go other way? I ask because there are two evenly spaced holes on the bottom of the bumper about where fog lamps would attach. Thanks,

http://www.Ironheadz.com is setting up a paypal donation. We may be able to make a second run in a week or two. Just depends on Tim's work, and how many donations we get.
