  1. I dealt with all that same crap on my bronze truck doing front floor pans. Previous owners suck lol. good looking truck though. I love seeing new oldschool decal/paint themes. I have a whole album on my phone I save them to everytime I spot a new one I’ve never seen.
  2. I had some used tubular upper and lower arms as well as some control arm drop brackets I got from a friend when I bought his 92 mj shell. So I installed all of those and a coil spacer to level out the truck and improve the ride. Definitely need all new shocks at some point to make it ride even better. I flexed it out for the first time in a ditch by my home. This is around 4” of lift and 35s
  3. Thanks lol. Yeah I just haven’t had the free time or funds to deal with those things. Hopefully soon I can have a brand new shaft made the right length
  4. Installed my new heavy load leaf packs awhile ago. It raised the truck atleast 2” Still have not figured out my temp gauge not working. still need a proper rear driveshaft and to raise the front end some more.
  5. Love it. I was originally planning to build a flat bed for my 2nd 87 shortbed but things have changed and I will probably end up selling it in a couple years or less. I may still build one of sorts for my bobbed 1992 long bed project 😁
  6. I’ve still been driving it a bit. I repaired the remaining rocker and cab corner. Replaced my trac bar tierod. I have not gotten a new driveshaft yet. Hopefully I can afford one this month. Still no working temp gauge. It’s not the cluster. I have no idea why it won’t work at this point. I did buy some new leaf packs second hand that I need time to install yet.
  7. Current list of things I need to do: Figure out my temp gauge problem Repair the passenger side rocker and cab corner Replace my trac bar tierod end or change the whole trac bar entirely While I’m doing that I will add a small coil spacer to level out the truck some. I'm still running a xj rear driveshaft, it’s about 2” shorter than I’d like, so I need to get a proper length driveshaft built or modified.
  8. Recently had to rebuild the front end due to terrible death wobble when I tried to adjust the alignment properly and found out all my balljoints were shot. I ended up replacing all the balljoints, axle shafts with cv style, and v8 zj tierod upgrade. found out most of my hub bolts were junk, had to weld nuts to two of them, so I replaced those as well.
  9. Thanks. Still more to do but I’ve been driving it for a few months but recently discovered all my balljoints are actually bad so I’ll be ordering those tonight as well as some cv axle shafts to throw in while it’s all apart
  10. It did before the 35s that are now on it lol
  11. Been driving it still. Still issues to work out but I don’t have much free time now a days. I did finally install the wheels and tires I intended for this. Willys jk wheels and some ko2 315s
  12. Nothing new for now. Haven’t had much free time. I do still need to figure out why my temperature gauge doesn’t work, have a new rear driveshafts made to be 2” longer, and my brakes are still soft when running but work well enough to daily drive it.
  13. Weather has been warmer. I installed some azzy Comanche badges and some decals.
  14. I’ve been driving it to work for a couple weeks now. Brakes still aren’t right but good enough to drive it. My other issue I have going on is my temperature gauge doesn’t read at all. It cycles when starting the Jeep and I’ve replaced both temp sensors on it and no change. Next when I have time I’ll try another gauge cluster and see if it’s the gauge that’s the problem. As far as I know all my grounds are good
  15. Yeah I’m not worried. I already have all the parts to do it and I just completed a full blown up 2.5 2wd to 4.0 4x4 swap on my other mj
  16. Well I was until we got snow but now I might have a possible internal engine problem. Hopefully not but I haven’t had time to really find out. If the 2.5 is actually going I will probably swap it to a 4.0 until I can afford my ls swap or a diesel swap and save the ls I have for another project.
  17. Thanks lol. Love the wood grain dash bezels. I put a silver one in my other truck though
  18. Today I changed the headlights out, replaced my driver seat buckle because it was broken, and installed a license plate light. I drove it to work this week and found out the rear shocks are too long and the windshield isn’t properly sealed so I have to get that fixed as well as figure out why my temperature gauge isn’t working.
  19. I will try that when I can before I start replacing it
  20. Damn. I guess I’ll have to try replacing that then 🙃
  21. Ok so I did a full 94 xj swap into my mj shell. Every hardline and soft line are brand new, brand new wheel cylinders, parts, shoes, parking cables, brand new pads and rotors, good calipers, new brake master cylinder. Rear shoes are adjusted to slight drag with no pedal applied. There is no mj load leveling valve in the system. The prop valve is from the donor xj. Pedal feels good and firm engine off. Pedal goes about 3/4 way to the floor with the engine running before stopping. ideas? I’m stumped besides somehow air is still trapped somewhere?
  22. I’m still having issues with my brakes. Pedal is soft and goes about 3/4 way to the floor before stopping when the engine is running. Only guess is still air somehow stuck in the system somewhere. It has brand new hard and soft lines, new rear wheel cylinder sand brake parts , new pads and rotors, good calipers, and a new master cylinder. So I took a break from that headache and started fitting some rear tj flares to the truck to make it look way better. Still have to do the passenger side.
  23. Probably going to be replacing the brake master cylinder hopefully that clears up the last of my issues on this. I still need a rear driveshaft that’s 2” longer than the xj one I have in it for now.
