  2. Here are a few more pics that I took tonight. I added rain guards and a tool box :) the rain guards were free (made them) and the tool box was $80 bucks which ain't bad. Also it's been painted a bit more since the last time All I need to do is get another few cans of black to finish the black paint job, and do a tune up. I get a tag Monday :D Brandon
  3. Does any body know any good f-150 forums? I'm part of F150forum.com but it kinda sucks not many people answering questions on there, but it seems as If it was much bigger at one time :dunno: Brandon
  4. I've spent most of my free time reading though all of this it's amazing! His is one of the best so far! http://dontevenreply.com/view.php?post=70 Brandon

    Radio

I'm looking for any aftermarket radio. I would like for it to have either or an iPod/iPhone jack and a CD player. Just let me know what y'all have. THANK YOU! Brandon
  6. So today I got another way to get around a bit more given to me for FREE from a friend of mine :D There are only a few things I know about it. It gets 60+ mpg, but only goes 35 mph. It needs a new drive chain and the pedals are crazy loose so you have to give it a running start. Also needs new tires. But what I do know is that since it's under 50 CC's in FL I don't need a tag or insurance so even if I don't use it that much I'm happy with that since the only thing I have to pay for is gas. But I'm not sure yet if it's going to be safe enough to drive to school every day which is 11 miles one way. But I know it's going to be supper helpful since that truck I'm getting only gets 9 mpg and I can use the bike for goig to friends homes and running simple errands. Does any body know anything about these? I would like to know more but I can't seem to find any thing about them. Brandon
  7. In the state the MJ is in yes. When she gets back on the road tho I don't think so. I know I REALLY need to update my build lol so very much has been done to it there's just so little time in the day. Yeah it's 4x4 and the 33's are still at the shop waiting to be mounted. That $600 might get her back on the road I don't know yet but $ is not the thing that's really holding her back it's time. I just haven't had time to tear into it. I do know that there are so many things wrong right now I can't keep track. But for the past month or so I've been with out a ride so I've been bumming rides off of every body else, riding my bike, and taking a cab to school 3 times now. I just can't wait any longer. I miss driving her and I would love to do nothing more then that buts it's going to be a bit before that's going to happen :( That's good to know I really don't want to put much any $ into it so as long as it runs I think I'm happy. It's just there to keep me going untill I can gt the Comanche back on the road. RE: Brandon
  8. Since my jeep is having more problems then not and I really need transportation I'm putting her on the back burner for a bit and getting another truck. I'm going to get my good friends 1984 ford F-150 with the I6 4.9 lire. It's just a $#!& truck to get me by till I can get the jeep fixed up. Was used as a farm/mud truck since 1999 and was not registered ith the state till a few months ago. But hey you can't beat it for $600 :D Here are some pics of when my friend first got it, towing my jeep to the shop last week and a "mod" that he did to it. Me and him have painted it mostly black with some spray paint which made it look a bit better. Not bad but I miss driving my jeep :( Brandon
  9. Do you have vent windows? I've heard that they can "leak" a bit and maybe that's where the wind sound is coming from. Brandon
  10. :wrench: Dragged her over to a shop yesterday and they called me today with the GREAT NEWS... The motor that I got has a bad bearing cap and said that I need yet another one...
  11. Turning out great  can't wait to see every thing you do to her :clapping: Brandon
  12. Yeah but a JY will be far cheaper :) I'm not sure about your transfer case tho sorry. Brandon
  13. Ok I'm sorry I've never had to deal with my own 4wd system and just thought that it would have to have somthing to "lock" in the axles. I found out the 4x4 worked great today when moving her for the first time in a month. I thank y'all for all of your help :D Brandon
  14. Meaning? Every thing is put together with out any thing missing... Or I think so :dunno: Brandon
  15. I'm having a problem with the passenger side caliper. It was scraping the inside of the rim when going in reverse. I'm wondering if this is caused by there being a size difference in-between two wheel drive and four wheel drive brake calipers? Or what else could it be? Thanks for any thoughts Brandon
  16. I'm not sure ive seen the old seals and they looked brand new. I just gave up and took it to a shop. I've been dealing with this for 2 weeks now and posting was my last ditch effort. I need my truck to get back and forth to school and cabs are expensive. Even after this is fixed I STILL have a few "small" things needed to be done. Thank you VERY much tho, however I don't think it's the valve cover either because that was also replaced before the motor was droped in. I just want to drive her again :( Brandon
  17. This is the last thing left to fix my truck. I thought it was the rear main seal or the oil pan gasket but after doing both 3 times now (not including the first time back before we put the motor in) it can't be either of them. The leak is coming from the back up by the fly wheel, it's the size of a pencil lead. I'm not at all sure what to do here and I really don't want to take it to a shop, but me or my good mechanic friend can't see just where it's coming from :dunno: Does any body have any clue of where it could be coming from? It only happens after the truck is started up. Please :help: Brandon
  18. I don't know maybe I'm just being stupid, but how do the hubs engauge? I thought that It would have to have somthing vacume to lock in the hubs :dunno: Am I thinking into this to much? Or am I missing somthing? Thanks Brandon
  19. I can't give you any pictures but I ran my rear vent up though the bed and next to my tool box. I also put a check valve in it. I would get you some pics but I still don't have my truck. But I go though alot of water/mud so you might not need it that high. Brandon

    Just venting

I'm sorry for not posting back I wanted to have more time to thank every body one by one but I don't think that's going to happen. I appreciate the kind words y'all it 100% helped out my mood the last week. And some of them story's I would have never expected to get like Jays bar fight lol Thanks again y'all and I'll make sure I'll keep up on that spelling... ;) Maybe life won't seem so stressed when I get the MJ back on the road Brandon
  23. I don't think it's a CAD I just checked here are a few pics Maybe a mix up in years :dunno: Any other thoughts? Brandon
  24. I have every thing in meaning, t-case, drive shaft, shifter, axle lol, and tranny. So now my last problem is the vacuum part. I think the front Dana 30 is out of an 86 XJ. What do I need to do vacuum wise to get every thing working properly? A diagram would be very helpful. Thank you Brandon
