How did the 4 banger hood up to being stroked? Is it a good option or good idea?

I was thinking of doing a Rusty’s 2 inch they don’t have a kit directly but the rear I found shackles and shock for the rear so it’s fairly easy. At least it should be.

I have an 86 Comanche 4x4 automatic 4 cylinder. I was wondering how much lift I could do without cutting or anything crazy. My pickup is my daily driver I don’t drive on the highway much roads around me are fairly hilly. Just looking for an idea of how much lift to do. Was thinking 3” or under? I don’t take my truck wheelin or anything just trying to keep it looking nice and “cool”. Thanks.
