Ok guys I am at my wits end here. I put the new euramtec lights in and when I got the first one done it was working great. Followed some advice on how to do the wires correct and it worked great. Door open light came on, flipped it and it came on. Now with the drivers door open the light don’t come on. I can flip it and it comes on. The passenger door works great. I open the door they both come on. Flip it, it comes on. Why the heck won’t it come on with my drivers door open. What the heck is going on here.

The coil is hitting it. It stays in the track rolled up, but when I roll it down it goes down to the door and hits it and kinda rolls up. It is in no sheath or clipped to the side. You happen to have a picture of what it looks like all sheathed and clipped?

Another strange question guys, on my 87 I have manual windows. It has that metal worm or coil that goes up in that track. I have lubed it well and it goes up and down pretty easy. My question is it hits the bottom of the door or even my speaker. Is there a clip or anything that holds it up against the door or is it designed to just go into the door cavity. If there is a clip can someone show me how it goes. Thanks guys

I took off the wire clip to the enrage and the light was still on.

What does the switch look like that makes contact to keep it on?

Hi guys, my brake light on my dash is in and I can’t figure out how to get it off. My brakes feel great and my master cylinder is full. I have an 87 Comanche that the brakes have been re done recently. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

I appreciate the help, I just need to really know how to get it out. This shows how to bypass it. At some point I just want a functioning switch.

Does anyone have instructions on how to remove the power/comfort switch? Do I just pull it off or do I have to take the dash apart? Thanks in advance

Floor model shifter

Hi guys, I am on the hunt for a decent shift indicator bezel for my 87. So far I am not having much luck finding one. Does anyone know if I can cross reference this with any other Jeep models? Thanks in advance!

I might be. Lol. I’m not sure what they look like. Are those oem fender flares? If so then yes. I’m just not sure how they bolt together.

Can someone tell me what kind of bolts are used to bolt the fender flairs together. I need to bolt the putter half and inner together and am not sure what to buy. Thanks guys.

Hi guys, I took my Comanche to a fly by day mechanic and when he returned my truck the outside fender flare was bolted on to the fender or something. Isn’t there an inside part to the fender flare that the 2 bolt together? Anyway I am missing all 4 if anyone has a set of 4 laying around. Thanks in advance.

It seems the previous owner removed the rear portion valve. My guy had to replace my front calipers and rotors and pads. Tried bleeding the system and was having a tough time. That’s about all I know as of now

So it seems that the rear thing has been bypassed somehow. It’s not on my truck. (The second picture of Pete’s post) I think my guy has it figured out now but who knows. I just don’t know enough about this system. Pete has been really helpful and patient trying to educate me on it.
